Mrs. Jerry’s 3rd grade students took making ADVERTISEMENTS to a new level this year! With the help of their Library Media Specialist, Mrs. Lehnert, the students learned the program called Canva, an amazing online publishing tool.
The third graders were able to create their own designs, choose color schemes, and play with fonts.
Now that the 3rd graders are so efficient at creating ads using Canva, they will soon be creating ads for their school newspaper, the Birchwood News!

FORENSICS HEADS TO STATE
All 15 Forensics students headed out this morning to the state competition near Madison!
They had a whole-school send off yesterday afternoon, and we were able to see short previews of their amazing public speaking performances. We even ended with singing the school song!
Thank you Mrs. Weiss for rejuvenating the HS Forensics program and inspiring our students. You are a blessing to our district!
Good luck students!!
